SleepTalk™ comes to the U.K. - and Manchester!

With the appointment in 2008 of Costa Lambrias (pictured right) as the SleepTalk™ U.K. Trainer, SleepTalk™ has found its way from Australia, where it has benefited thousands of families, to the U.K..

Costa was trained personally by Joane Goulding in Melbourne and appointed by her to train others to become officially accredited Goulding SleepTalk™ Consultants. The SleepTalk training programme has now been accredited by the National Council for Psychotherapy in 2010. The NCP is one of the U.K.'s lead bodies in representing the psychotherapy profession, and its endorsement of our comprehensive training programme is testament to its high standards.

Costa's background is in holistic hypnotherapy, as a practitioner and trainer. He is Principal of the Academy of Holistic Hypnotherapy, Secretary of the Hypnotherapy Association and Principal Consultant at the Holistic Therapy Clinic in south Manchester.

For 20 years as a holistic hypnotherapist he has worked with many psychosomatic disorders and serious illnesses, and as the UK's Self-Esteem Doctor® he specialises in helping others with confidence and self-esteem issues, including healing the childhood with his It's Never too Late to Have a Happy Childhood! inner child therapy.

I am delighted to announce that Joane Goulding, the Creator and Author of SleepTalk™ for Children in Australia, the easy-to-follow process that has transformed the quality of life of thousands of children and their families, has accepted my invitation to return to the UK to lead the training of more UK SleepTalk™ accredited consultants in 2011.

Accredited SleepTalk™ consultants work only with the parents rather than with the children. The process allows the parent to regain a sense of self-empowerment as they assist their own children to develop. The process takes only a few moments of the parent’s time each evening.

The 2011 UK SleepTalk™ Training Course has been carefully structured to provide the most benefit to attendees, with sufficient time between the delivery of SleepTalk™ Levels One, Two and Three to allow for optimum experience and positive personal feedback.

Level One training by Joane covers the history, background and wide-ranging applications of SleepTalk™ and the major differences and benefits to the whole family of the parents working with their children rather than the therapist working only with the child. Virtually any condition, for which you would consider using hypnotherapy to alleviate or resolve, can be addressed with the SleepTalk™ process. Level One introduces you to the powerful SleepTalk™ Foundation Statement. Comprehensive SleepTalk™ Consultant training manuals are provided.

Joane has generously scheduled a 2-week break before returning for SleepTalk™ Level Two – this should afford each novice SleepTalk™ practitioner sufficient time to discover for yourself the effectiveness and sometimes instantly rewarding results of the SleepTalk™ process, as witnessed by yourself and/or the SleepTalk™ users you have chosen to work with!

Level Two training with Joane expands on all the SleepTalk™ information and experiences so far and guides you through the complete SleepTalk™ process, with emphasis on the key secondary statements and affirmations recommended for specific childhood conditions and parental concerns.

As there is a requirement of 3 SleepTalk™ Case Studies before your official status as a bona fide Goulding SleepTalk™ accredited consultant can be authorised by Joane, and a SleepTalk™ Certificate to this effect issued, we have scheduled Level Three training for Saturday 18^th February 2012. Both Joane and I will be available in the interim for guidance on any cases and for any other SleepTalk™ matters.

Level Three training will be led by me, Costa Lambrias, the UK  SleepTalk™ trainer. As well as the group sharing their experiences with SleepTalk™, and going over individual case studies, I will be providing you with essential information on the subject of Psycho Nutrition, and the impact of diet on the physical body, the emotions and the mind. The information provided will open your eyes to just how important a contributory factor poor nutrition can be to so many psychological conditions, and yet it is hardly ever considered when searching for clues to most “mental illnesses”. The information you take away will prove invaluable when working with ALL clients, not just with your SleepTalk™ families.

Certificates of attendance will be issued for each SleepTalk™ training day, and will count towards your CPD (Continuing Professional Development).
